Abstract
For more than 10 years, I worked at the Integrated Manufacturing and Automation Center (CIMA UTFSM), leading industrial projects related to the design, operation and improvement of manufacturing systems in several companies in Valparaiso, Chile. Since 2014, I am a full time faculty member of the Department of Industrial Engineering, specifically in Operations Management Study Area, at Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María, currently teaching courses on operations management for upper level undergraduates and MS students.
My research focuses on supply chain network design in general, and inventory control and facility location models in particular, while my fields of interest are mathematical and combinatorial optimization, stochastic programming and stochastic process.
I am currently doing a post-doctorate at INOCS, INRIA Lille Nord-Europe, Lille, France, researching the application of Stackelberg Games to avoid fare evasion in transit systems.
